Using the tight package of the M235i as a base, AC Schnitzer has stuffed an M4 powertrain between the two front wheels to make for a genuine Munich hotrod. 562bhp from the twin-turbocharged straight-six is quite a scary prospect in something as small as this, with Schnitzer employing the old mantra of 'less is more'.

The 7:25.8 lap time was achieved with touring car and truck racing legend Markus Oestreich at the wheel and saw the AC Schnitzer creation topple supercar giants like the Porsche 911 GTS RS 4.0, Nissan GTR and Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series.
