I love the dual exhaust system, looks great! Think next is a lights refresher? Maybe clear indicator lenses?

M3 front bumper comming soon...

Haha the 2x 10"s are just behind the Amp, facing up. The problem that I've got with that is that the playing space between the subs and the compartment for the roof is like 2cm... Need to sort that out. And I can't face them forward/backwards because the space is limited, I think only an 8" would fit to face like that.

this is the reason I bought a 10" for my car, as I thought the 10" would fit flat / parallel with the rear panel. When i did my measurements, I discovered the sub would need a wedge box. So it seems i might have just as well have bought the 12" i had in mind!! :cursin:

@Laigo it is a proper task to fit sound in the E36 Cabrio. Let me know if you fitted yours with pics please! Or if you got an idea. What I was thinking of doing is to fit a sub on each side of where the wheel arches is.

@neelsie88 and Laigo. I haven't done sound in mine yet for that very same reason. only way i've found to do a decent sound install is to utilise the whole boot which really isn't an option...

I have seen people advertise them for 90-100k. But around 70-ish should be a fair price. Alot depends on whether is trying to recoup all that he's put intot he car

Don't let the size of the boot put you off. There is alot you can do although we are VERY limited to the size of woofer installed in there. I think the maximum size of woofer you SHOULD be putting in your vert is a 10inch (however, there are very loud 10inch subs out there these days) which has to be mounted in angled box due to the height from the floor to the roof compartment. Needless to say inside the car you are able to do as much as a hard top vehicle.

@Neelsie, i got the wood today, I got my design in my head, will start ASAP, and put up pics when done. :thumb:

i paid R68K for mine but it's manual and didn't have a full service history(plus it needed a little work). It really depends on the condition of the car. i agree that between 70 and 80k is a decent price and wouldn't go over 90k unless it's a show car that only got driven to the shop once every second sunday :)

And just a tip, Check that the roof mechanism, roof material and rear window are in excellent condition because a new roof with mechanism, apart from being scarce to come by, is going to set you back around R27k.

Thanks Laigo....just wanted to get an idea of how much they retail for as i might be getting one by the end of next week, just hoping the deal goes through with no hiccups.....Lets just say for now that im getting it for under R65K....good price considering the condition of the vehicle...

True, i'm still busy tryin to design a new system for my car because the system out my previous car is a little overboard and i have already installed most of it into my sister's astra. All i've got left is the XTC 3500w dvc subwoofer.
