My E46 320i

Hi guys,

I’ve been around the forum for a while lurking in the for sale section with hopes to one day find my dream car when I’m ready for it, and now that I’m almost ready to get myself a F30 340i, I’ve decided to introduce myself and my little buddy the BMW E46 320i to this forum and share this exciting experience.

To keep it short;

I’m Gabriel informally known as Gabby or Ya Vele, I’ve always been a BMW Fanatic and probably always will be, I drive a 2002 E46 as shown in the pictures that I got from a first owner, it has given me 60 000kms so far with some issues from 188k but still feel like it’s the best car I’ve bought thus far.

I hope to be a part of this community for all the good reasons.

Cheers

Lovely car bud!
The 320i is notoriously a dog of a motor, but at least the 6 cylinder hum helps a little (speaking from my personal experience here :roflol:)

Congrats bud!
Keen to see more of the ol' girl as well as the new that's en route!

Thank you!

Lol I would like to hear more about this experience, I don’t intend on letting this one go so will need to keep it in good nick.

Welcome. The 320 still look to be in good condition :)

Thank you, I try my best, but I do have a few dents to iron out.

Bro, e30 320i Auto. I don't think many things happen slower than this car moves. :roflol:

welcome and great car there mate. I had one back in the day as my first BMW and enjoyed it, until it started leaking coolant and overheating and stuff, then control arms(common problem). Generally bullet proof..

Thanks CK,

Had that control arm issue a year after owning it, now I’m dealing with a creaking sound that needs attention. I changed the radiator last year when it started leaking, luckily I didn’t run it dry so didn’t overheat and like you say it’s generally bulletproof and has been very reliable from my experience.
