MAF readings

Was playing around and I noticed that the MAF nominal and MAF reading differ is this normal? This is from an F30 330d.
No fault codes.

If im not mistaken its actual and requested so it will fluctuate.

Thanks I figured it out. When EGR is open the reading differs but once the EGR is closed they match
