M3 E36 Sedan Race car

After having my CSL several times on the track I decided to get something to race in a proper way, here is it now:









After a first trail run in Midvaal I figured out that the engine is not really reving higher than 6000rpm...busy sorting that out these days...

I will do some other mods also, e .g.
- Proper race suspension (Currently KW Variante 2)
- Change/Extension of roll cage
- Carbon air intake
- Exchange of all remaining rubber parts (diff, gearbox)
- .....
- ..
- .

Congrats on the new track toy, red and white combo work great together!
I take it the car had a front end smack at some stage of its life? Or was it a pre-facelift chassis converted to M3?

After having no power in Phakisa some things were done:
Lambda Sensors reconnected
Speed Signal reconnected
New knocking Sensor

Dyno gave 100kW but now full rpm

Next knocking Sensor failed....:hammerhead:

lets see tomorrow again....
