Very Very nice. I think the black rims are a bit too much. Maybe matte gunmetal would be better.
Other than that, excellent.

Sorry if I missed this in the AE thread but where did you buy yours and for how much?

I am just wondering, seeing as you're plan is to boost or to charge the car, wouldn't it be better to first get bigger wheels so that you can fit bigger brakes and then to have painted those wheels. (Yes you will need bigger brakes)

if i was going to track it yes, but because im building it for drift the demands on my brakes will not be as high im pretty sure the EBC disks and pads will do the job... also i will be eating tires so going to 17"s will increase running quite a bit...

Oh yeah I forgot about that, the drifting, remember pics or it didn't happen :p

Strangely enough this is the second time today that I have been told by someone that wants to FI their BMW that they don't think they need to upgrade the brakes, your reason at least makes sense.

the thing is the main thing you have to worry about is brake fade... ive done brake tests from 200-0 and no fade i could feel

now seeing as you not supposed to travel those speeds on the road anyway i dont see how it can be more dangerous to have a supercharger and still keep the same brakes...

yes if i go blasting up a mountain pass braking hard into corners i will probably get fade if i have a supercharger... should i go blasting up a public road... no

also in my case im not increasing tire size so it will be very hard to get better braking out of my tires

I wont upgrade my brakes because I plan to go fast. not stop... Stopping will happen when the tank is empty ;)

Or when you hit a tree.......

How many brake test did you do in succession? As I fond I can do about 7 or 8 very hard stops (from around the 80-10km mark) before I start smelling the brakes and I decide not too try any more ;)

(Note that I am very big fan of very big brakes, because I have a serious brain problem or something :p)

i agree brakes first, big ones,no matter what you sport you do,drifting ,track or high speed,or even street.better to stop, less damage to your car and reputation.

who sprayed your rims by the way

i know that successive heavy breaking will overheat my brakes, but when under normal driving conditions will i brake 7-8 times from 80-10km?

if i go to the track then i would need bigger brakes... but seeing as im going to the track to drift the demands on my brakes are not nearly as high as if i were racing...

most drifters dont bother with a BBK unless they also doing track...

if i get into track i will definitely put a BBK on, but if i put it on now ill just be adding weight and wasting money...
drifting demands alot from the drive lines so thats where i will be spending my money now :)

Looks awesome moranor. I think the spray was a better bet when going for matt black on the car cause the lamin-x is high gloss. Dont think the rims are bad, just think you need to clean them well, add the BMW center caps and polish your tyres then it should look fine
