a mate of mine bought a lexus v8 looks very similar to this one and the auto box for 8k he is builing it into his dads cortina bakkie which was a 1600 , then v6 now v8.

Do you have more pics of the rest of the car ? Wouls love to see. I can understand why this is a sleeper. Would love to see those ST gangs faces when you kick their asses :clap:.

yeah, you can get the 1UZ with autobox for R4950 at engineden now allready. they are so cheap .. but if anyone does decide to get one, just overhaul it properly... the ones you get from these engine importers don't last long, I've heard of many of them coming back for repairs from a place that fits them... the BMW V8 engines are MUCH more reliable .. in every way

It's a cereal box engine ...
