I trust you are all having a great new year so far.
It has been a while but i need some help from you all wise people.
My dad recently purchased a 2006 120i With the n46 engine.
It was pretty rough but we have managed to sort out quite a few issues.
There is however one issue we just cant get to the bottom of and im hoping someone here can assist.
Car starts and runs perfect when cool, once you have driven say 20minutes, and you park and try start again after 5 or so minute(think heat soaked) it swings for damn long before starting, sometime 6-10 seconds, other times a second try may be required.
Funny thing is there are no codes picking up on ista or inpa.
Oil, oil filter, plugs, both temp sensors, crank sensor, cam sensors, valvetronic motor, all been replaced.
Vanos has been cleaned but did not look bad.
Fuel pressure to the rail is 50psi.
Injectors are clean, coil packs are good.
It is a very annoying issue so if anyone can assist whit this issue, that would be absolutely awesome. Everyone seems stumped about this issue.
