G87 M2 in the fleet

Picked up an M2 G87. Manual, Carbon buckets, Mperf Exhaust, Mperf Coilies. Its pre-facelift and how do I know im getting old, I dont care about lci and pre-face and and.... because I have no idea what the differences are and they are too small anyway to matter in the real world for you and I 🤣.

My 1 sentence review from a mid 40 yr old... drives amazing. Lively, engaging, fast, ultra modern.

Versus my 1M...the 1M is just more connected, raw, less complicated, 1M feels faster (My 1M isnt stock tho). 1M feels smaller, lighter. The M2 G87 is a chunky boy!!

Versus my E92 M3? I rather go slower (??) in the V8.... and enjoy the drama more, full stop. Although my E92 is supercharged and could probably hold its own......but the theatrics from an E92 M3 is 👌👌...at low speeds you just feel so good in it. Modern M cars have nothing until youre flat footing it.

Is the M2 G87 no good? NO! Brilliant car, brilliant tech, brilliant generation of M. Last and only manual M car on offer today. Feels more like what an M3 is supposed to be if that makes sense? Compact car, boosted 6, rear wheel drive, manual.

Glad its in the yard.....

Congrats on the new purchase. Many happy miles and smiles.

What's your take on the carbon buckets, I love the look, how's the comfort of them though.

Hit me up when you ready for spacers and the center bumper lower grill covers.

Seats are better than the Mperformance Recaros...and those are awesome seats. The sack hump doesn't get in the way ...and those reviewers say its not good in a manual because of clutch action, I dont even notice it.

Seats need film protection at the back. Lighteys itching to scratch it 😬

Ive got spacers, just have not put them on. Run in service coming up.

Bottom grills I do need!
