E82 3rd Brake Light

Hi

I am looking for the 3rd Brake light on the trunk of the E82 coupe, tried the breakers, but no one has any E82's.

Please let me know if anyone has one lying around.

Had to source mine from BMW when it mysteriously shattered.

It's about R250 or so.

Only problem is that the older models of the E82 has a small piece of metal where the light fits on and the newer models don't have... easy fix as you have to cut through the plastic (i heated a stanley blade)

Is your E82 still under motorplan?

I bought a 3rd brake light for R770+vat from the dealers. took it back as I found out that its covered under motorplan. At first they denied that its covered under motorplan, until I done some researched and proved to them wrong.

otherwise try: ULTIMATE BMW PARTS, D & S Used BMW Spares, MD House Motors, Wynberg. I know Lou Appel's Auto Spares was also stripping a E82 1 Series.

Motorplan expired. Tried most of the breakers and they dont have E82's. I will give Lou Appels a call. If i may ask, which dealer did you get yours from.

Got mine from Continental Cars in PE, but that was in Feb 2013, it probably has gone up to R1200 with the rand dollar inflation :thumbdo:
