I also read the first post wrong. Assume the owner first came in looiking for a MAF but ended up going Alpha N route instead.

Hey Calypso.

No I am the owner and when my builder killed the old maf I needed one asap and got hold of Burgy , he had his old one and sold it to me as he no longer used it, we did some talking but my builder still was confident that the car would run and that he had the job in hand.

Well as it says, goodness knows how many tries later Lola was still dead, so I swallowed my pride and came back to the Mad Scientist to get this girl running as he was the only guy that I found in this 1 year project that had the balls to say I can Do this.

As you see she is running and running strong, I left all the sorting out in Burgy's hands so the alpha N was what he felt happy with, and it worked

only problem is I'm in Mozambique and will only see her when I get back:argh::bangdesk:

can't wait

@Alain

Only a suggestion and by no means being didactic however if the car is S/C'ed you may wish to consider running maximum valve clearances.

Inlet is 0.18 to 0.23 and exhaust is 0.28 to 0.33 I would run it at maximum permissible as these engine do not like minimum clearances.

I wish you well with what appears to be an awesome car.
