More fun stuff...

Little history:
1 x 740i with a bad body. Had been hit in the rear and the repairs done were quite bad. The whole car was resprayed in a dark grey and used by a funeral parlour, but it drove great. Another 740i with a buggered engine but a much better body. Decided to swap engines etc and make one good car.

We took the engine out

Front engine is buggered. We suspect it dropped a valve. Rear engine is perfect.

The previous owner managed to fry the wiring in the fuse box. Replaced the whole engine harness and most of the body harness.

Put some different wheels on:

Had found this Hartge kit quite some time ago (Thanks Luis).
Did a little test fitting. The kit came off a long wheel base so will have to trim the side skirts:

Great work on some classic BMs. Can I ask what product you use to dye the dash panel from grey to black?

Looking forward to the final outcome of the Touring.

Yes agree, awesome work and dedication! Was wondering about the dye as well as i have done some seat/doorcard panels as well and was thinking that the front seats would look so much better with some new black dye. I am not judging or anything like that, just mentioning it. Very well done, looking very GOOD!

Sorry, was showing the pictures/work to my son and noticed that the seats are re deyed already. Sorry again, my bad!
