technical Crankshaft Pulley dead? Tips and recommendations?

Hey everyone,
Any help or advice would be appreciated. I picked my car up from the car wash today and as I was leaving I got an alert saying my battery was not charging. I pulled into a parking bay and took a look inside the engine bay. Realised my crankshaft pulley belt was loose (yay). Maybe I shouldnt have pulled it to confirm, but alas.

2016 BMW 320D (F30/B47)
Edit: 140,000km on the clock, also have a downpipe and a slight tune.

I have questions 😆
  1. Could this be what I think it is (crankshaft pulley gave out)?
  2. How much does the setup usually cost to replace? (Crankshaft pulley and tensioner)
  3. Since Im having the repair done, is there anything I should do while it's in? (water pump, etc.)
  4. How concerned should I be, or is this "normal"?
Bonus, my Innovation Group warranty expired 5 days ago... is there anything I can do there?

EDIT/Follow Up:
Had the work done at Brilliant Mechanical Workshop in Claremont, they were super friendly and helpful. I called at 17:00 as they were closing and they Whatsapped me to get more info after 17:00 so that I could come in the morning. Had my vehicle towed to them by ~09:00.

They ordered a vibration damper before my car even arrived( to speed things up at my request) since I was pretty sure it was the issue and they agreed based on the photos. I did a service at the same time, and they had my vehicle ready for pickup by 16:30 that same day. They repaired the damper, replaced the belt and did the oil service I was also due for (unfortunately they could not get the tensioner delivered on time, so they did not replace that but said it still has a little life left in it).

All around, they did an awesome job, were very friendly, and put up with me pestering them because Im a very curious person :censored:

Screenshot of invoice (for anyone in the same situation as me in the future):

Also, I wonder if this is related to my older post from a few months back?

I don't know much about the dreaded crankshaft pulley issue you refer to, but based on the condition of the belt, in the single not-so-great image in your post, which looks undamaged, I would think the most likely suspect is the tensioner pulley that failed and threw it off.

It will have to be towed in unfortunately - which by now I am sure you have arranged - but the scope and cost of such a repair is not significant, unless other damage was done.

There are of course other possibilities also and I'm a casual spanner jockey so I would advise you to look up a proper mechanic for an honest assessment.

There is probably some great institutional knowledge on the forum related to mean time to failure for a water pump on these cars; if you want to consider that as a preventive measure, add some details such as mileage on the odometer to hit some better results from other forum users.

Completely forgot to add the odometer! Thank you.

Yeah, was already stuck on the phone for a while and just wanted to get home so the photo is pretty crap. Im taking it to a workshop tomorrow to get looked at.

Common issue. Just replace the crankshaft pulley and you are good to go. They seem to fail around the 150k kms mark. If you are handy with spanners you can do it yourself. Many YouTube videos showing how to.

I recently replaced the crankshaft pulley on my e90 320d and the cost from BMW was as follows:

-RIBBED V-BEL R654.76
-VIBRATION DAMPENER R9875.00
-HEX BOLT M18 R246.06
-BELT TENSION R1642,59

The prices above were Exc VAT and the labour at an independent workshop was R1950
I think the prices of the parts for the F30 will be similar
