Hi forum members
Looking for some advice and input.
Background to my story:
Bought a 2012 F20 118i from BMW in 2015, car had 55k on the clock.
Motor plan active up to March 2017.
In Nov 2016 the car was taken in for its service and BMW replaced the turbo under motor plan.
In Dec 2017 the car gave me issues with drive train and engine malfunction errors. Took the car to BMW and was told that the oil pump went and damaged the engine beyond repair. Long story short - after a long fight the engine was replaced in February 2018 and cost me 50% which was around 65k.
Last week - One year later, the car suddenly started blowing huge amounts of white smoke from the exhaust and started stuttering. This practically happened in front of my driveway. Took the car to BMW and got a call today to tell me that the turbo is leaking oil and needs to be replaced - at a cost of 47k ex vat. This means the turbo only lasted 2 year (roughly 15000 - 20000 km)
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
