BMW 130i DYNO RUN

Today I decided to join the Autoworks Performance dyno day at Dynotech. I wasn’t expecting much, all I wanted is to see how much does the car still makes after 203000km.

To my surprise the 130i ended up winning the 6 cylinder NA class at 177kW/296NM on second run, the only competitor was a nice E36 BMW 328i.

After asking Dynotech where is the power at they said the power is on the wheels for that um not complaining.

Some of the things I won is a 6 Cylinder NA Class Trophy, Petronol E98 Fuel Additive, Cleaning and Laundry Service Voucher.

We had a group of 3 cars follow me on Saturday right after I added some juice to the Octane booster at the Motorcity on Old Paarl road. Was 2 Focus RS's and what looked like an Audi S3. Driving up my ass all the way from Kruis road, down Brackenfell Blvd and then I went back up Protea road to make sure they're trying to play also giving us 2 lanes.

RS pulled up first, guy had his window down and I told him to take the hit, I'll chase. Not sure if he tried but left him and his bandits way back. This road has alotta short runs uphill for those that know it so I waited on the next stop again, he's window was closed and he denied looking my way. The rest of the road up they drove slow with crazy pops and bangs all the way around to the Dynotech route again.

We pulled left for some McDonalds, but I'm sure this crew was at, or heading towards the dyno day. Was around 12ish.

Yeah but not too chubby I would say (from what I could see shoulder up).

I had my Insta360 recording but on a 2min dashcam loop setting, otherwise I would have dropped a vid.

Also adding, both RS's was white on black, S3 was silver'ish.
