As far as I know BMW will be calling it the 1 series M coupe, to avoid using the M1 designation.

Personally I think it would be better if they where to use the CSL engine in the 1 series M instead of the 3l turbo engine (or twin turbo, not sure which one they will be using), but thats just me.
