330d excessive fuel consumption

Hi guys.as per topic. My car recently started using way more fuel than before,just started after i had the xhp software done. Used to get an average of about 4.5/5l per 100km on the higway and now im lucky to get 7.5l. So far ive done maf cleaning,map sensor cleaning and the egr delete. Thermostat seems to be working fine according to the hidden menu temp gauge. Even at idle it will go all the way up to 11l/100km. Any ideas what else to check?

Start with the obvious, remove the software and see what happens.

Diesels with boost leaks or ingesting unmeasured air can also create fuel economy issues.

and on another note, has your driving style changed ? will also be heavier when panting it after the update.

Not att all bud. Obviously giving it beans will make it heavier but thats on odd occasion.
Best i could manage on the highway now is 6.5l/100km. Next up diesel filter and vacuum lines.

Been a minute guys🤣
Seems a bit better. Now running at 7/100km in town. Basicly just feathering the car to see what it does. Seals will be done next just to make sure they dont leak as soon as i can get stock from the stealers. Thanx for the reply guys.
