I guess it depends on a few factors but I did utilise the valet at OR Tambo recently and was quite impressed (Monitored with Vitality Drive). Cheaper than parking, huge time-saver and a free car wash.

Oh did I mention it was my GF's Figo Fencelook

I went to Sun City recently and was offered valet parking, at the Palace (my first time there).

I took my time to read the Ts and Cs and was shocked to read that the Palace basically absolves itself of ANY negligence caused by it's parkers. There was no mention of "reasonable care" being taken as a mitigation.

My SO was embarrassed that I insisted on parking the car myself.

Any views?

I let this happen once at Zimbali, never again.
I had to go back to the car a few minutes later to fetch something and it was parked so badly I could hardly open the driver door. My car would have definitely been dented. I moved it to a better parking myself and told them to eff off.

I will never use those services. Whenever I travel for work, the company normally arranges those. I'd rather leave my car at airport parking.

Those services basically take your offsite and return with it upon your arrival.

Nope nope nope, park it myself. Alternative is to wait when I get one that can identify an open parking spot and park itself...Rofl
