Having dealt with a crappy mechanic the best is just to get your car and all the parts you have, and get it to somebody reliable.

I'm glad you've got (what's left of) the car.

Hope some good can come of it (N54 swap into the E46? :P)

Previously owned cars:
2003 Alfa Romeo 147 T-Spark (Navy blue and beige interior)
2006 Alfa Romeo 147 JTD 16v (Silver and beige interior)
Current:
2007 BMW Z4M Coupe (Silbergrau and Black Leather)

From also being in m/plain I'd really like to know who and where in the plain this guy lives, it's weird that my brother hasn't even heard of this guy and he knows everyone.

Very good deal...no wait ... GOT A VEEEEERRRRYYYYYY GOOOOODDDDD DDEEEAAALLLL

Lets just say BMW wants +-35k for a crank ONLY and MIKES PLACE sold their last S54 about 4months ago for 75k

I got this Complete engine for 45k and now we have spares from the Old engine to sell to recoup some of that 45k ...

So im thinking after i sold all those spares, Got it for about 25k

I am going to drop the Sump and Check the status of the bearings on there when i get the engine...

May as well Replace them while the motor is out... What you guys think?
