That looks pretty horrendous! I can't imagine that's normal by any means? Wow!

Is it not the hand creams that ladies (and to be non-sexist some gents) use and operate the passenger side that causes the degradation? Or maybe too many slap-chips without washing hands?

It honestly looks like someone was playing / messing with it and deliberately started pulling it apart. No way that is wear and tear.. I would have a stern talk with your passengers Fencelook

Mine doesn't look that bad but just has the melting/stickiness too it that rubs off on your hands and clothes. Also dumbstruck as to why this occurs. 2010 e90
