F30 320i 19inch new tyres
I am due to replace all my tyres, but the Bridgestones are costing an arm and a leg, the quote is R17.5K.Cry Is there anyone running a different brand on 19inch run flats without any issues?

Shocked RE: F30 320i 19inch new tyres
Unfortunately any 19 inch runflat tyre is going to be pricey.
if you want something cheaper you will have to go non-runflat and keep a spare.

Same-ish boat. Mine will probably last me a good while still, but the quote shocked me. If you shop around online etc, you can probably find tyres for roughly R3.5k per tyre. R14K is a bit better than 17.5k I guess. Not sure what your alternatives are.

I'm definitely heading to non-runflats when these are done. I'm out of motor plan, so it's not a big deal and apparently the ride is actually more comfortable with normal tyres.

RE: F30 320i 19inch new tyres
Well to be honest, before buying you should have costed the tyres beforehand so you not shocked now and also you could have saved up for your change of tyres by now.

The F30 has the 18 inch option so basically it costs to have the better look. i always had one reservation about low profiles and non-rft tyres, my indi had the 18 with 35 profile...guys with non-rft had a lot more buckling issues and rim repairs to be done while i still kept rft and had no rim repairs or buckling issues.

i opted to replace the tyres with the exact same Bridgestone tyres in RFT at the time and i am thinking it might save you a couple grand now going non-RFT however try getting a new rim or think about rim repairs later on.

I drove both my BMWs on RFTs, my 320d has 17s, and i changed it to Pirelli for it being cheaper but i buckled 3 OEM rims with that softer and cheaper tyre.

pros and cons on both sides of the fence...just some thoughts and hopefully it adds value for your choice

Out of motorplan, go with non run flats and a spare unless your boot is always filled everyday.
