Tyre pressure sensor limit
Does anyone know at what point the tyre pressure low warning gets activated?
Probably a bad practice, but I only get my tyre pressure checked when the warnings come on. I don't get them checked every now and then.

Yesterday on my way to work, the warning lights came on but was in a rush so I only got them checked after work.
The front tyre pressures were on point, but the rears were at 1.4bar! Checked for punctures and the tyres were fine.

So when does the warning get activated because 1.4bar is very low before it came on.
Or was it never checked by the dealership when they delivered the vehicle and reset the sensor when the rears were already low?

Look on the door pillar on the driver side, there should be a stick as to what your tyre pressure should be.

The warning gets activated when it goes below its set reading.
For example, when you pump your tyres to the correct pressure you need to reset your TPM, it will then calibrate and store the pressure reading, if it drops below that pressure reading, it will trigger.

RE: Tyre pressure sensor limit
Yea, the stickers say 2.6bar, that's why I was concerned when it only showed up at 1.4bar.
When I took deliver of the car, the dealership put on 2 new tyres for the front. They probably then reset the TPM without checking the rears first.
This is the only scenario that makes sense at this point.

They probably didnt check the rear's cause they assumed it was fine.

RE: Tyre pressure sensor limit
My low pressure warning comes on at 2 bar, or when it dips just below 2 bar. (I've noticed)
