Some feedback - dealership paid for all repairs without any fuss. Great service from them.

All is fixed now and firmware upgraded successfully.

Still not playing mp3 however, and also not taking the new NAV disc that I downloaded from here.

Maybe I have to seek an iPod connection and have that installed? Any ideas???

Hi Johann,

think you need to chat to Gert on the forum and see what he can do for you, he is the best and this is peanuts for his skill.

He is your best bet to be honest and is a short distance to Benoni

Its possible you have the same version of nav that I do. The disks that were posted here dont work for it, has a different file structure.
I downloaded the EU version to check and that works fine, just doesnt have anything for SA but the files and file extensions are quite different to what was posted.

There are essentiall 3 types of Nav systems.
MKIV and Older: 1st gen X5, Z4, E46, E38, E39 etc. (E65 has a derivative of this)
CCC: Introduced with the E60 and used until 2008
CIC and newer: Introduced in 2008.

CCC Business and MKIV share the same data (Business Maps) whereas CCC Processional (widescreen) uses Professional Maps.

CIC uses hard-disk based maps and require an FSC to activate. The new CIC-NBT features over-the-air updates of the map data.

As for the file structures, yes, there is a difference between the Business and the Pro maps. I use the Business maps in the 7-Series, and used the Pro maps in the 6-Series. Both work(ed) 100%. If the maps don't work it's often due to the quality of the disk or the method used to burn the images. PICNIC: Problem in Chair, Not in Computer.

RE: Navgation Business and Professional 2012 - ISO Files
Reviving an old thread.

i am looking for a disc image for navigation in an E60(from what i have read it is the CCC business)

is there any body willing and able to share a disc image with me ?

i found an image on here somewhere called (map_disc_2008_high (downloaded, works with Z4, added speed cameras POI)CD.iso)
burnt it to a normal CD-R using cloneDVD2 but my car says that it is unable to read media.

the image file is only 67.8mb , is this correct?

Thank you in advance.

I have uploaded the ISO files for both the Business (M-ASK) and Professional Nav (CCC) 2012 to my Google drive and will gladly share the link. I don't want to post the link on here (to discourage trolls) so if you need them, PM me and I will share the link with you.

I am looking for the business nav. If you still have them that would help me tremendously. Any one else able to assist me?

Regards
Tony

I think at this stage you are better off using your phone for navi. The 2012 maps are woefully outdated...
