F30 wheels

I was unfortunatly put in the situation where my wheels were damaged. Now I recieved the funds to replace them. Which wheel looks and is better

Both look good. Option 1 gets my vote due to scarcity compared to option 2 (at least where I am).

Yes they are nice but I want to keep the F30 ofiginal as possible and its an insurance claim. So if I buy them on the forum and not an BMW approved dealer and fitted by an approved retailer they wont pay out for any claims on the wheels again on the vehicle.

403s for me look better, but its commonness is what makes the 442s more desirable

Def 442's...I agree with what the guys are saying. I also have 403's and yes they are sweet rims, they are just so common. I am also considering changing mine. There was a set of 442's for sale on the forum - I just couldn't do the deal now as timing is off for me. But def go 442's.

Since "our" opinion was aksed for, here is mine:

1) I am "old school" and the BMW marque was always one of elegance and style and prestige, the 403 is more in line with that image I have in my mind of how a BMW should look
2)the 442's just look too "agressive" and reduce the elegance and prestige of the BMW brand, down to the "Tokyo Jap car modding scene".
3) Aside from the price/rarity/scareness vs the more everday styles, the fact that the 442's only have 10 spokes from hub to the rim edge vs 14 spokes on the 403's, means that the load carrying and weight distribution is thus much better on the 403's, and thus the 403's should in the long run, suffer less from cracking, and warping, or totall failure, and ultimately be more reliable.

403 for me, they are common but work very well on a F30, I have them too and in OEM form and kept clean they look amazing honestly.

Also depends if you have the M sport brakes .

With the 442’s they will obviously be more visible .

I’d go with the 403’s if I had regular brakes .
