N55 DV+ with Bigger turbo inlet

N55 DV+ with Bigger turbo inlet
Hi guys, I bought the turbo inlet with the charge pipe and the inlet is sitting in my garage for a while now.

If I install the GFB DV+ with the turbo inlet will I see any gains on performance and is it worth it doing it, considering the labour cost?

Car is currently running on BM3 stage 2 91 Oct.

The car will hold boost better with the GFB DV+, which turbo inlet do you own?

I installed the GFB+ on my N55, i felt a great difference...the boost is held quite a bit more up top...if it does not add more power on...it definitely helps deliver it much better!

How easy / hard was it to change the DV? I believe it's in a very tight spot and 1 bolt is very hard to get to

So the was ramped at at the shop, and it is true, the type bolt is the issue. We moved the waterpump out (2 bolts only and then its free play) but the top bolt...

It didnt seem as bad as its made out to be but i guess working from under is better overall.

You need someone with with small hands to get the bolt back in and you need to have a little extension with front end bits to use that only to get the bolt in and tighten it.

First time, its abiatch, second time would be better but ideally...not something you would enjoy doing lol.

Ja guys, it was done at XFlow...the joke at the end was how many guys dies it take to fit an N55 DV+....Answer =4! lol
