DSC Engaging for no reason on X5 M50d
Hi all,

Hope someone can help me solve this, I have 2015 X5 M50d with 60,000 kms. Recently the DSC started to engage while on long corners at normal speed, when it happens it tends to push the car out across the corner and tuck back in when it releases which is dangerous if you aren't expecting it.
BMW have recalibrated a setting but it still happens, even if I disable DSC and put into Sport + the same issue occurs.

Anyone had a similar experience and hopefully a solution?

cheers

It's in plan....

Get another Dealer to look at it...or escalate it with the dealer that's failing to sort it out

By the sound of things ...in the wrong corner, at the wrong time that could be come very dangerous for a 2 TON SUV

I had the same issue with a 330i, turned out it was the front left tie rod and LCAB which was buggered.

I would clean the abs sensors at the wheels, see if that does not cure the problem. But main thing is it is still under MP and should be BMW's problem, really.

Had the same problem. Was the tyres. I put new tyres on the back and needed to wait a week for the fronts to arrive. Had the exact same experience with the DSC flashing on long corners and pulling the X5 as it cut in and out. Very unsettling!

Change your tyres to all having the same amount of thread.

Check your collision warning distance also, I have noticed that on long fast bends, if you have on coming traffic it will activate the collision warning and brake
