sub install F30
Good day,

would like to share my findings on installation of a non BMW amp in the F30

so have been watching KiesMotorsports on youtube for a while and this lead me to the installation of my own AMP in the Boot with 12inch sub.

it’s totally doable and works 100%
I have the base head unit with no RCA output.
sourced high speaker outputs from the subs under the seats. then drew wire to the
the boot and connected a high to low RCA converter.

once that was completed i connected the wiring kit to the battery and RCA to amp and sub box and boom bass galore.

had to retrofit the tweeter panels as the base system does not have the tweeters next to the side mirrors.

once that was done it sounded actually nice.

RE: sub install F30
Apologies no photos,
I got the idea from this vid
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PomTx4G21c4&t=124s

basically just need both the feeds from the under seat subs run twin flex to the boot underneath the rear seats boot.
Buy high to low converter from sound shop with an amp/ sub of your choice.
I have 12inch but it is a bit overkill. Looking at 8 inch now.
