A nice display of what is under the coat of the i8- to show us the carbon structure passenger module and separate drive modules.Notice the battery bank down the interior centre console.

Those low drag eco tyres are quite fancy, wonder how much they cost?

It sure is. Petrol engine drives the rear wheels and the electric motor drives the front. they an run independently or together- that's when the car is great fun

those were only for show, although the production version tyres are also low rolling resistance tyres.
