Hey guys so it's getting close to my service on my 2010 323i M sport e90 n52k km-224590

And the so obviously parts are required, so the discussion I would like enter into falls under the following subjects

1, OEM vs after market or other.
2, price tag diffence vs benefits.
3, certain millage addition work, ie[gearbox oil, Transmission oil]
4, parts suppliers,

I have check online at a few places, like europarts, goldwagen, and on and on.

What iam looking for is to start a thread that will have all the info when it come to suppliers, brand names and parts FOR THE SELF SERVICE CORNER OR THIS FORUM,

This will include, oil, oil filters, spark plugs, air filter, cabin filter, brake pads if necessary for your service. Coolant and wiper blades.

If you think you need to add something to that list please do. I think it would be cool yo have a one stop shop for all things self service related.

Let me know what you guys things.

For me it goes as follows.

Oil - fully synthetic 5 W40 Total
Oil filter- bosch standard OEM.
Spark plugs-bosch OEM.
air filter-standard OEM bosch boxed in fillter.
Cabin filter- standard OEM Bosch filter.
Brake pads--currently not sure of brand
Wiper blades- Bosch standard slimline aerotwin. [useless]

Any advice and recommendations will be greatly appreciated.

OEM filter for the N52 is actually a MANN product. Infact for all the N5x 6 cylinders of the same era

OEM oil is currently manufactured by Shell.. Previously by Castrol..

The OEM cabin filter for the e90 is made by GUD filters and has a BMW stamp on it, GUD part number for the filter is AC76
